Description
Telwell Trio 25 is a triple-combination antihypertensive medication. It is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients who require more than two medications to achieve effective control.
- Active Ingredients:
- Metoprolol Succinate IP: 23.75 mg (equivalent to Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg). A Beta-blocker that reduces the heart rate and the heart’s workload.
- Cilnidipine IP: 10 mg. A Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) that relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
- Telmisartan IP: 40 mg. An Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessels from narrowing.
- Formulation:
- Extended-Release (ER): Designed to provide steady medication levels in the blood over a 24-hour period.
- Film-Coated Bilayered Tablet: Ensures the stability of the different medicinal components.
